  • Not at all. The Full Monty is designed for complete beginners as well as people looking to refine existing skills. Michelle will guide you through wheel throwing, hand building and glazing at your own pace.

  • A welcome drink and studio tour, a 4-hour hands-on session where you choose to work on the wheel or hand build, guidance from Michelle throughout, glazing your piece in the colours you choose, and refreshments and nibbles. It runs $160 per person, minimum 2 and maximum 4 people per session.

  • Sessions run monthly. When you book, note your preferred date and Michelle will confirm availability.

  • The Full Monty is a structured 4-hour group session covering the full process from building to glazing. Studio Time is casual, unstructured access to the studio - ideal if you already have a piece sitting at home you'd like to glaze, or you just want to come in and work with clay at your own pace. Studio Time is $30/hour; contact Michelle to book or arrange a tour.

  • Wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy - clay and glaze can mark fabric. Everything else you need is provided in the studio.

  • Yes. Kracking Ceramics offers bisque and glaze firing services, and use of the full kiln is available.

    • Bisque firing (Cone 04): $15 per kilo

    • Midfire glaze firing (Cone 6): $20 per kilo

    • Highfire/stoneware glaze firing (Cone 8): $25 per kilo

  • General turnaround is within 7 days. If you need it urgently, contact Michelle directly and she'll see what's possible.

  • Yes, absolutely! Check out our Online Store for current pieces, reach out to Michelle to organise a time to view available pieces in person, or follow along on Instagram for new work as it comes out of the kiln.

  • We offer three ways to receive your purchased ceramics.

    1. Studio Collection - Collect your piece directly from our studio in Ardross, WA. Once your purchase is confirmed, we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for you to collect.

    2. Local Delivery - We offer a flat-rate fee of $25 for delivery within the Perth Metro Area. Enter your address when purchasing to see if you are eligible for delivery.

    3. Shipping outside the Perth Metro Area - We kindly ask that you contact us for a custom shipping fee.
